Barober: Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create and manage an account on Barober. However, our grooming services may also be provided to children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using our platform, you confirm that any bookings made for minors are with the full consent and oversight of an adult who assumes responsibility for the appointment.

2. Services

Barober provides an online platform that enables users to book professional barber services at home. We connect customers with verified barbers in their locality for on-demand grooming services.

3. Booking and Payments

All bookings must be made through the official Barober app.
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your payment details.
Bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate personal details (name, phone number, location)
• Be present at the scheduled service time
• Treat barbers with respect and maintain a safe environment for service delivery
• Avoid misuse of the app or attempt to exploit its services
• Not engage directly or personally with any barber for future bookings or services outside the Barober platform

5. Barber Conduct

All barbers listed on Barober are verified professionals. However, Barober is not responsible for individual actions beyond the agreed service delivery. If you experience any issue, please report it immediately to our support team.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Users may cancel their booking under the following conditions:

• If the scheduled service time is more than 2 hours away: The user may cancel the order without any cancellation fee.
• If the scheduled service time is within 2 hours: A 20% cancellation fee will be charged on the total booking amount.
• If no barber accepts the order within 20 minutes of booking: The system will automatically cancel the order, and no charge will be applied.

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed to the original payment method within 1 day of cancellation. Once a barber has arrived or the service has begun, cancellations are not permitted, and no refund will be issued.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• False information is provided
• The platform is misused
• There is a breach of these Terms

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the app (logos, text, images, software) is owned by or licensed to Barober Professional Services. You may not copy, modify, or reuse any content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Barober shall not be held liable for:

• Any direct or indirect damages resulting from service delays, misuse, or user negligence
• Losses caused by third-party services (e.g., payment gateways)

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of major changes via email or app notification. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
